SPP-IPP Estevan Area 230kV Solar Project
Saskatchewan Power Corporation (SaskPower)
This project is required to interconnect a proposed 100 MW solar facility located near Estevan, Saskatchewan. The project includes construction of a new 230kV transmission line from the Tableland Switching Station to the Proponent (Turning Sun Solar) site and the development of a new line position at the Tableland Switching Station. The scope of work includes: Installation of seventeen (17) T73 series galvanized steel structures. Installation of one (1) T90 series self-supporting galvanized steel structures. Stringing of single Drake ACSR conductors. Stringing of 2x – 1/2” steel overhead shield wires. Termination of the conductors and shield wires at two (2) A-frames. One in Tableland Switching Station and one at Turning Sun Solar Station.
