Address: York University Procurement Services 4700 Keele Street Toronto, Ontario Canada, M3J 1P3 Description: York is soliciting Proposals from experienced and qualified Proponents for the supply, delivery, implementation and support for a commercial-off-the-shelf modern, cloud-based campus Retail and eRetail Solution. The Solution should be capable of replacing the existing course and inventory management, e-commerce and NPOS environment with a fully integrated platform designed specifically for higher education retail operations. The successful solution will support textbook and course materials management, digital courseware delivery, inventory management, EDI, point-of-sale operations, e-commerce, financial management, reporting, customer engagement, and future institutional growth. The new Solution must improve operational efficiency, reduce manual processes, enhance data integrity, strengthen reporting capabilities, improve the Student and Faculty experience, and provide a scalable foundation for the Bookstore's long-term digital transformation strategy. The University seeks a solution that supports an integrated omnichannel retail model, improves automation, facilitates seamless system integration, and positions the Bookstore to effectively respond to changing student expectations and emerging trends in higher education retail. It should enable the bookstore to provide enhanced service, grow revenue, and lower costs. The new system should also offer efficiency improvements, saving considerable time by automating certain tasks, eliminating certain system work completely, adding integrations to systems such as Peoplesoft to avoid duplicating work and simplifying repetitive tasks such as creating new items in the system and searching for information.
