TTC intends to establish a Contract with a reputable security firm to plan, implement, and manage security measures during transit labour disruptions, minimize operational disruption, and support the continuity of essential services. Services will only be required at TTC's sole discretion during the term of the contract. Security resources required are subject to TTC's operational needs and to be determined prior to any potential labor disruption, in conjunction with TTC The term of the Contract is for up to an initial three year term.
