This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Government of Manitoba (“Manitoba”), as represented by the Department of Public Service Delivery, to prospective Contractors to submit proposals for Chandelier Glass Component Repair as further described in Section 1 of the RFP Particulars (Appendix 3) (the “Work”). Buy Manitoban Buy Canadian Policy The Buy Manitoban Buy Canadian (BMBC) Policy is a Manitoba policy that applies across government departments and the broader public sector, prioritizing Manitoban and Canadian vendors, Canadian content, and Canadian-produced materials in public purchasing. The policy is intended to strengthen our Provincial and National economy by supporting local businesses, protecting and creating good jobs, and ensuring public dollars deliver greater benefits to Manitoban and Canadian workers, families, and communities. It also responds to evolving global trade and market conditions by enhancing the resilience and sustainability of Manitoban and Canadian supply chains. Vendors that meet the BMBC definitions of a Manitoban Vendor or Canadian Vendor, offer Canadian Content, or propose the use of Canadian-produced materials for Construction, may be eligible for the evaluation provisions described within the policy. Manitoba and the Contractor acknowledge and agree that, upon contract award, the Contractor shall collaborate with Manitoba to identify and procure an alternative product in cases where a non-Canadian manufactured product has been proposed.
