WP1.3 Fitout of Temporary QRA Shelters
Bird Construction Group
This work package focuses on the comprehensive interior fit-out, building systems integration, & associated site works for three new pre-erected Temporary QRA Shelters located on the Tactical Ramp at 4 Wing Cold Lake, Alberta. Your firm's firm, fixed lump-sum submission must encompass the complete mechanical, electrical, fire suppression, structural base metals, & civil/site scope required to deliver a code-compliant turnkey project. The site work requires full underground utility locates followed by concrete saw-cutting & full-depth removal inside the WP1 boundary limits. Please note that while a 4-hour fire resistance rating is required between shelters, the 6,000 mm tall concrete block fire barrier walls are pre-existing or handled by others & are strictly outside your scope of work. Proponents must, however, factor in structural site protection, including the supply & installation of galvanized, concrete-filled 200 mm diameter steel bollards at the shelter corners of each hangar door. The stipulated sum must cover all interior fit-out & site utility distribution works, including trenching, gravel bedding, & backfilling to connect the shelters to transformer T303-A & local base communications lines. It also includes the hookup of automatic transfer switches [ATS] tied back to a new 75kVA standby diesel generator network, complete with its own custom-reinforced structural concrete pad. Because this is an active military airfield environment, all daily operations, deliveries, & personnel movement must strictly align with active base access protocols & flight safety regulations. Comprehensive systems integration pricing must include: Supply, installation, & commissioning of direct-fired gas Make-Up Air [MUA] units [120V line-voltage] & gas-fired unit heaters with stabilizing guy-wire arrays. Top-chord destratification fans & submersible 0.5 HP drainage sump pumps with rigid suspended PVC discharge piping. Custom static aircraft grounding grids engineered to register
