Purpose of this Market Sounding PCL Constructors Canada Inc. (PCL) is seeking non-binding information from experienced mechanical and electrical contractors regarding potential participation in the CancerCare Manitoba New 2nd Building (CCMB2) to assist in the future procurement strategy to provide best value for the project. The exercise will help PCL understand market interest, project-specific capacity, delivery-model review, labour and leadership availability, commercial capability, packaging options and key constraints. Objectives • Assess the market for a mechanical scope independently anticipated to exceed CAD $150 million and an electrical scope independently anticipated to exceed CAD $150 million. • Understand how the different procurement models such as Lump Sum, Design Assist and Sub-Construction Management Partner (Sub-CM) delivery would be received by the market.
