Wasaga Beach 288-Bed LTC Home - RFPQ for Mechanical & Electrical Subcontractors

D. Grant Construction Limited, acting as the Construction Manager (General Contractor) on behalf of Wasaga LTC Inc. C/O peopleCare Inc., is pleased to invite the below listed subcontractor categories to submit their qualifications for the proposed New 288-Bed Long-Term Care Home in Wasaga Beach, Ontario. The Owner is proposing to construct a New 288-Bed Long-Term Care Home in Wasaga Beach, Ontario. The proposed LTC Home is a five storey building with a total gross floor area of approximately 169,133 SF. Proposed construction consists of slab-on-grade main floor, ICF exterior concrete walls and precast concrete plank upper floors and roof slabs. There is no basement. Subcontractor Categories: - Mechanical (Not Including Sprinkler Systems) - Electrical Information shall be submitted using a CCDC Document No. 11, identifying major project experience including long-term care homes and retirement projects. Criteria used to assess the qualification of proponents will include ability and experience in projects of this size and type in the area; bonding capacity; track record within the building industry on meeting schedules, coordination and management of projects, fairness in costing, and overall organization and reputation. Provide references who can confirm recent performance based on these criteria. The tender is currently scheduled to be issued early 2027. The Owner reserves the right to select the subcontractors deemed best qualified for the project. Prequalification submissions are due on or before November 5, 2026 at 5:00pm.
