2026-10-20 RFI Curriculum Management Software

This open Request for Information (RFI) invites interested software providers to submit information to the University of Windsor (the University) regarding commercially available curriculum management software and related services. The University is conducting market research to better understand available solutions and the curriculum management software marketplace. Information received through this RFI, and through any optional follow-up demonstrations, may be used to refine the University’s requirements and inform a possible future Request for Proposal (RFP). Participation is voluntary and will not provide an advantage or disadvantage in any future procurement process. The University of Windsor is exploring modernization of its curriculum management and academic calendar processes. The University is interested in solutions that can support curriculum development, review and approval, academic governance, quality assurance, publication and related administrative activities while reducing reliance on manual documents, manual and duplicate inputs, email-based approvals and spreadsheets. Understand the range of curriculum management solutions currently available. Understand the overall capabilities, modules and service models offered by vendors. Identify common approaches to implementation, integration, data migration, training and ongoing support. Understand key technical, security, privacy and accessibility considerations. Understand licensing models, fee structures and key cost drivers to support planning for a potential future procurement, without requesting prices or cost estimates. Use market information to further develop the scope and requirements for a potential future RFP.
