ADVANCE PROCUREMENT NOTICE Ramp B East Replacement Project 15 Wing, Moose Jaw, SK (with security requirements) 1. PURPOSE OF THIS ADVANCE PROCUREMENT NOTICE This is not a bid solicitation nor a request for proposals. In the context of the major investments announced by the Government and to foster a proactive partnership with industry, DCC is issuing this Advance Procurement Notice (APN) to inform contractors of an upcoming contract opportunity at 15 Wing Moose Jaw. The purpose of this APN is to allow contractors to assess their capacity and interest in participating, and to prepare adequately for the potential solicitation process. This is a preliminary notice regarding a potential contract, which includes security requirements. The purpose of this APN is to allow interested contractors to initiate, if required, the sponsorship process to obtain the necessary clearances or security clearances (if applicable). Please note that there is no guarantee that this contract will proceed or that security clearances will be granted within the anticipated timelines or at all as part of the sponsorship process. Please note that this project may include Indigenous businesses participation component in accordance with the Procurement Strategy for Indigenous Business (PSIB). 2. DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT AND SERVICES CFB 15 Wing Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, requires the repair and replacement of the existing Ramp B East at the airbase.The Department of National Defence and Defence Construction Canada intends to put in place a contract to provide all labour, materials, and equipment for work including, but not necessarily limited to, the following: Installation of temporary security fencing and construction barriers Demolition and removal of existing concrete pavement Partial removal of existing granular base Topsoil stripping and stockpiling Grading and compaction of the existing granular base and placement of new granular base Construction of new Portland Cement Concrete (PCC) pavem
