Handheld Scanner System for Automotive Application

Introduction PMG Technologies is operating the Transport Canada Motor Vehicle Test Centre (MVTC) located in Blainville, Quebec. PMG Technologies is planning the following sole source purchase. Required equipment: As part of a study to evaluate direct visibility and understand the issues surrounding large vehicles in the Canadian fleet (commercial and passenger vehicles), Transport Canada is looking to acquire a handheld scanner. The tool would enable good definition of the interior of the cabin, to capture foot well, pillars and window opening. The interior scans are merged with the exterior of the vehicle to ensure a full 3D model of the vehicle. The full system specifications can be provided upon a request to the contact person.
