Jaywick Sands Open Spaces Preliminary Market Engagement

Tendring District Council (TDC) is undertaking Preliminary Market Engagement with suitably qualified and experienced contractors in relation to the proposed delivery of the Jaywick Sands Public Open Spaces Regeneration Project. The project forms part of the wider Community Regeneration Partnership Programme, under which £19.8 million has been awarded to deliver 15 regeneration schemes across the district. Approximately £3.2 million has been allocated to improve public open spaces within Jaywick Sands. This market engagement exercise is intended to inform the Council's procurement strategy, test market capacity and capability, and gather feedback from potential suppliers prior to the commencement of a formal procurement process. Participation in this engagement will not form part of any future evaluation process and does not confer any advantage in any subsequent procurement. Tendring District Council (TDC) is undertaking Preliminary Market Engagement with suitably qualified and experienced civil engineering and public realm contractors regarding the delivery of the Jaywick Sands Highway and Public Realm Improvement Scheme. The project forms part of the wider Community Regeneration Partnership Programme and is centred on the comprehensive improvement and reconstruction of Brooklands Road, a key route within Jaywick Sands. The scheme aims to improve resilience, safety, accessibility and connectivity for residents and visitors, whilst delivering associated enhancements to adjoining public spaces and community assets. Brooklands Road is currently an unadopted road and suppliers should take this into consideration when considering delivery approaches and associated stakeholder requirements.
