All of Government Cloud Migration and Hosting Services

We are seeking market insights that can help government adopt modern delivery models, accelerate innovation, and take advantage of emerging technologies, such as AI. We are interested in understanding where the market is heading and how contemporary Cloud approaches can improve performance, reduce cost, and strengthen interoperability. We encourage respondents to present pragmatic, achievable, and forward-looking solutions, including alternative models that go beyond traditional patterns used in government. This RFI seeks insights that will help us shape an All of Government approach capable of reducing duplication, strengthening security and resilience, and removing the long-standing constraints created by legacy systems that have been difficult to modernise or migrate. We are interested in forward-looking solutions that support greater reuse of capability across the system and create the conditions for sustained innovation, enabling government to move away from fragmented, outdated infrastructure and toward a coherent digital environment that can adapt and evolve in line with the needs of New Zealanders. The purpose of this RFI is to engage the market to understand the range of capabilities, approaches, and delivery models that can support an All of Government transition to modern Cloud migration and hosting services at scale.
