[Advance Notice] Polar Patrol Uncrewed Aerial System

This is an Advance Notice published by the New Zealand Ministry of Defence. Following the earlier Request for Information (RFI) in March, the Ministry is seeking to procure a polar-capable uncrewed aerial system (UAS) package to enhance the ability of HMNZS Aotearoa to undertake patrols and monitor activity in the Southern Ocean. The Ministry intends to publish an open market Request for Tender (RFT) in early October 2026, and interested suppliers are recommended to subscribe to this tender notice so you don’t miss any up-coming notifications relating to this tender.
