Main Building Contractor – E: Redevelopment at Queenstown Primary School

The Contract Works comprise the full renewal of the building envelope and teaching spaces of Block E. This includes removing the existing roofing and asbestos cladding and replacing them with new Colorsteel roofing and James Hardie Axon cavity cladding, replacing all joinery with thermally broken aluminium glazing, and installing new underfloor insulation with subfloor repairs and repiling of approximately six piles. New air conditioning units and stairs will be installed, and the internal linings, ceilings, lighting and flooring in both classrooms will be renewed, with the existing acoustic panels reinstated.
