Republic of the Philippines Province of Eastern Samar CITY OF BORONGAN Invitation to Bid for SUPPLY & DELIVERY OF VARIOUS DRUGS AND MEDICINES FOR LGU-BORONGAN CITY, EASTERN SAMAR (Re-Bid) 1. The City Government of Borongan, through the City Health Office – Drugs and Medicines (General Fund) intends to apply the sum of Four Million Nine Hundred Ninety Nine Thousand Two Hundred Two Pesos and Eighty Eight Centavos (Php4,999,202.88) only being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract for Supply and Delivery of Various Drugs and Medicines for LGU-Borongan City, Eastern Samar (Re-Bid). Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid opening. 2. The City Government of Borongan now invites bids for allopurinol 100mg tablet, anti-tetanus serum (equine) 1500IU/0.7 ml solution for injection, ampule/vial, etc. (please see the Office of the BAC Secretariat for complete list of items and specifications). Delivery of the Goods is required Three Hundred Sixty Five (365) calendar days. Bidders should have completed a contract similar to the Project. Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using a non-discretionary “pass/fail” criterion as specified in the IRR, otherwise known as the “New Government Procurement Act (NGPA)”. Bidding is restricted to Filipino citizens/sole proprietorships, partnerships, or organizations with at least sixty percent (60%) interest or outstanding capital stock belonging to citizens of the Philippines, and to citizens or organizations of a country the laws or regulations of which grant similar rights or privileges to Filipino citizens, pursuant to RA 5183. 4.
