IntroductionThis is an RFP for the recruitment of national environmental Consultancy firm. The overall objective of this assignment is to Conduct Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) and develop Environmental and Social Management Plan (ESMP). The specific Objectives are:• Assess the baseline biophysical and social-economic situations in the project areas, • Identify mitigation measures to address any adverse impacts and enhance positive impacts.• Assess relevant national environmental and social regulations, as well as international safeguard standards (e.g., UNDP Social and Environmental Standards Policy) and identify triggered standards for the project. • Develop an Environmental and Social Management Plan (ESMP) to guide the implementation and monitoring of mitigation measures. • Conduct stakeholder consultations and provide capacity building training on the ESMP and its implementation.
