Recruitment of a Geospatial Technology Consulting Firm for Supporting Data Collection for the CENR Data Hub through the Initial Development Phase of the SLM-MRV SystemDuration of Assignment: 4 months (70 days Spread in four months: June, July, August, September)UNDP intends to recruit a consulting firm to facilitate all technical activities related to updating the forest and tree (individual trees) cover mapping, inventorying and mapping of terraces across the country, and conduct inventory and diagnostic assessment of existing data and systems on landscape restoration by public institutions. OBJECTIVE OF THE ASSIGNMENTTo facilitate and provide technical guidance for updating the Rwanda Forest Cover Mapping 2019, support the production of the National Forest and Tree Cover Map 2026 report, provide inventory and mapping of terraces across the country, design the architecture for the "Centralized CENR Data Hub" and establish standardized protocols for the "SLM-MRV System" (e.g., carbon stock calculation frameworks aligned with IPCC guidelines), and provide inventory and diagnostic assessment of existing data and systems on landscape restoration by public institutions.Please indicate whether you intend to submit a bid by creating a draft response without submitting directly in the system.
