Country: GuyanaDescription of the Assignment:The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) invites qualified Individual Consultants to submit an offer for the provision of beekeeping and apiary development services under the project “Strengthening the Enabling Frameworks for Biodiversity Mainstreaming and Mercury Reduction in Small-scale Gold Mining Operations.”The assignment will support the establishment of functional apiaries in four target communities: Campbelltown, Micobie, Princeville and Karrau. The consultant will be responsible for the supply and installation of Langstroth beehives, provision of honey harvesting and processing equipment, delivery of theoretical and practical beekeeping training, and provision of ongoing technical assistance to support sustainable community-based honey production and related livelihoods.Period of assignment/services: 15 monthsProposals should be submitted directly in the portal no later than Wednesday, June 10, 2026.Any request for clarification must be sent in writing via the messaging functionality in the portal.
