Below is a summary of the work to be performed: The consultant will develop practical guidance on how to develop and implement innovative skills policies, as well as a comparative analysis of skills policies to better illustrate guidance and principles presented. This assignment will build on existing publications and guidance produced by the ILO and other international and regional organizations, as well as relevant think tanks. This work complements initial work carried out to review existing guidance on skills policy, and will be packaged as a Global Skills Policy Guide. Guide will serve as a comprehensive and user-friendly resource for policy makers and social partners.
