The Government of Kenya has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Kenya Digital Economy Acceleration Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Supply, Delivery, Installation and Commissioning of Virtual Laboratory (VR) Equipment for Simulation-Based Training in TVETs Institutions. For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing, except for those payments, which the contract provides to be made through letter of credit. 2. The Information and Communications Technology Authority (ICTA) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Supply, Delivery, Installation and Commissioning of Virtual Laboratory (VR) Equipment for Simulation-Based Training in TVETs Institutions - 450No. Virtual Reality Headset, 60No. Computer/Workstations, 30No. Interactive Displays, 30No. Virtual Reality Headset Charging & Storage, 60No. 3000VA Smart Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), 1No. Device Management Software and 450No. Sanitization Kits. The final delivery site is as listed in Annex 1 3.
