The Government of Kenya has received financing from the World Bank (the Bank) towards the cost of the Second Kenya Urban Support Program (KUSP II) and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services. 2. The aim of the consulting services (“the Services”) is to undertake a municipality-wide climate-resilient urban infrastructure needs’ assessment, stakeholder engagement and public participation process, infrastructure prioritization, feasibility studies, climate risk assessments, preliminary and detailed engineering designs, preparation of environmental and social instruments, transfer knowledge to municipal staff, and preparation of complete procurement documents for two (2) prioritized infrastructure investments per municipality in accordance with KUSP II’s Program Operations Manual (POM) requirements. The Consulting Services is expected to be for a period of seven (7) calendar months from the date of contract commencement. 3.
