The Government of the Republic of Ghana through the Ministry of Education has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Ghana Accountability for Learning Outcomes Project (GALOP), and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for procurement of Targeted Instruction Teachers’ Guide and Textbooks : “For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing, except for those payments, which the contract provides to be made through letter of credit.” The GES now invites sealed Bids from interested eligible Bidders for the procurement of Targeted Instruction Teachers’ Guide and Textbooks : as stated below: LOT Items Description Quantity (pieces) 1 Targeted Instruction Teacher’s Guide and Readers (Various) 2,222,917 2 Targeted Instruction Work Books (Various) 2,634,964 Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” (Procurement Regulations), 7th Edition, dated September 2025, and the "Guidelines on Preventing and Combating Fraud and Corruption in Projects financed by IBRD Loans and IDA Credits and Grants", dated July 1, 2016 3.
