( as per Procurement Plan ): WS-MWTI-529364-CS-INDV The Ministry of Works, Transport and Infrastructure has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Pacific Region Preparedness, Adaptation and Resilience (PREPARE) - Samoa Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services. The consulting services (“the Services”) include provision of Technical Assistance to the Ministry of Works, Transport and Infrastructure to support the PREPARE-Samoa Project in the planning, implementation, management, monitoring and review of PREPARE-Samoa with a focus on technical aspects of urban planning and management. The Urban Planning Specialist will initially be recruited for 24 months, with possible extension subject to performance appraisal and the Ministry of Works, Transport and Infrastructure’s needs. It is anticipated to commence by October 2026. This position requires highest acceptable standards of effective performance.
