REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST INDIVIDUAL CONSULTANT Republic of Tajikistan Tajikistan Women's Economic Empowerment Project (TWEEP) Grant No.: TF-D1600 Title: Gender and Private Sector Development Specialist Reference No.: TWEEP-CS-IC-04 The State Committee on Investment and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan (SCISPM) has received financing from the World Bank toward the preparation and implementation of the Tajikistan Women’s Economic Empowerment Project (TWEEP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds for individual consulting services. The assignment is to provide technical leadership on women’s economic empowerment and private sector development under TWEEP by ensuring that Project activities effectively support the creation, growth, and sustainability of women-led businesses, expand women’s access to entrepreneurship, finance, markets, and employment opportunities, and are implemented in line with World Bank requirements and national priorities. The Specialist will work full-time, based in Dushanbe, with travel to regional project sites (Districts of Republican Subordination and GBAO) as required. The duration of the contract will be for an initial 12 months, including a three (3) month probationary period, renewable based on performance and project needs.
