REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (REOI) SELECTION OF AN INDIVIDUAL CONSULTANT (ADVERTISEMENT) 17 July 2025 The Project South Tarawa Sanitation Project (STSP) Assignment Title Environmental Safeguard Officer (Open/National) Reference No. KI-MISE-559647-CS-INDV The Ministry of Infrastructure and Sustainable Energy (MISE), Government of Kiribati (GOK) has received financing from the World Bank towards the cost of the South Tarawa Sanitation Project ( STSP) - P176108 and intends to allocate part of the proceeds for the procurement of consulting services. The consulting services (“the Services”) include services as STSP Environmental Safeguard Officer . The Consultant will be recruited for an initial period of one (1) year, with the possibility of extension subject to satisfactory performance. It is anticipated that the Consultant will commence duties in Q3 2026 on a full-time basis. A Time-Based Contract will be signed based on the agreed monthly rate. Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services (attach curriculum vitae with description of experience in similar assignments, similar conditions, etc.). Firms’ staff may express interest through the employing firm for the assignment and, under such situation, only the experience and qualifications of individuals shall be considered in the selection process.
