The “National Road Administration” (NRA) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the execution of the construction works under Contract MRCP/W6/01, including all necessary activities for the construction of the access road to the bridge over the Prut River, such as earthworks, pavement construction, drainage works, road safety facilities, road markings, traffic signs, utility relocation and protection, environmental protection measures, and all other works specified in the Bill of Quantities and Technical Specifications. The Scope of Works includes, but is not limited to, the following major quantities: Over 333.300 m of earthworks; Over 16.800 m of soil improvement at the base of the embankment; Over 16.200 m of granular drainage layer; Over 104.000 m of geogrid and geocomposite reinforcement; Over 4.000 tonnes of asphalt mixtures; Over 18 m of reinforced concrete box culvert; Over 2.400 m of paved waterways; Over 1.800 m of guardrail installation; Over 100 of traffic signs; Over 1.600 m of road markings (cold-applied two-component material).
