Matalud Farm to Market Road with Bridge 1) The Government of the Philippines (GOP) has received a Loan from the World Bank toward the cost of PhilippineRural Development Project Scale-Up, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this Loan to payments under thecontract for Improvement / Concreting of Brgy. Buenavista – Brgy. Matalud Farm to Market Road with Bridge withSubproject ID No. PRDP-SU-IB-R008-SAM-003-000-000-2023-FMB. 2) The Provincial Government of Samar, implementing partner of the Department of Agriculture, now invites bids forthe Improvement / Concreting of Brgy. Buenavista – Brgy. Matalud Farm to Market Road with Bridge with EstimatedProject Cost (EPC) in the amount of Three Hundred Six Million Nine Hundred Forty-Two Thousand Pesos Only(PhP306,942,000.00). Completion of the Works is required in 523 calendar days. Bidders should have completed,within the last ten (10) years, a contract similar to the Project. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly, in Section 5 of the Instructions to Bidders, and Sub-sections 5.2 and 5.4 of the BidData Sheet. 3) Bidding will be conducted in accordance with relevant procedures for open competitive bidding as specified in theImplementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act (RA) 12009, otherwise known as the “New GovernmentProcurement Act”, with some amendments, as stated in the Bidding Documents and is open to all Bidders fromeligible source countries, as defined in the World Bank Procurement Regulations.
