(As per Procurement Plan): TCTC-GATE/CS/QCBS-01 Georgia has received financing from the World Bank (WB) towards the cost of the Trans-Caspian Transport Corridor - Georgia Accessibility and Transport Enhancement Project (TCTC-GATE) and intends to apply part of the proceeds to payments for goods, works, and related services and consulting services to be procured under this project. The Project is co-financed by Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB). The financing agreement with AIIB is being processed and will be concluded in due course. The consulting services (“the Services”) include the SUPERVISION OF CONSTRUCTION WORKS FOR BADIAURI-CHALAUBANI (LOT 4) AND CHALAUBANI – BAKURTSIKE (LOT 5) ROAD SECTIONS OF TBILISI–BAKURTSIKHE–LAGODEKHI (KAKHETI) HIGHWAY. The proposed road sections form part of the Tbilisi–Bakurtsikhe–Lagodekhi (Azerbaijan Border) international highway and constitute a major transit corridor connecting Tbilisi to the Kakheti region and onward to north-western Azerbaijan. The Badiauri–Chalaubani road section (Lot 4) is a four-lane divided motorway that starts at Chainage (Ch.) 52+540, immediately after the Badiauri Interchange of Lot 3, and ends at Ch. 75+100 beyond the planned Chalaubani Interchange. The total length of this section is approximately 21.7 km, with a design speed of 120 km/h. The Chalaubani–Bakurtsikhe road section (Lot 5) is a four-lane divided motorway that starts at Ch. 75+100 and ends at Ch. 84+217.05, with the driving lanes separated by a double-sided concrete barrier.
