REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST (INDIVIDUAL CONSULTING SERVICES) Country: Republic of Mozambique Name of Project: Mozambique Safer Roads for Socio-Economic Integration (SRSEI) PROGRAM Grant number: IDA-E0780 Job title: SRSEI Project Coordinator Reference Number: MZ-PMU-561409-CS-INDV The Government of Mozambique, represented by the Ministry of Transport and Logistics (MTL), has received funding from the World Bank for the Mozambique Safer Roads for Socio-Economic Integration (SRSEI) and intends to apply part of the resources to consulting services. The consulting services ("the Services") involve accountability for day-to-day implementation oversight of assigned PIU activities in the designated province(s), serving as the primary operational interface between field execution and the PCU. The PIU Coordinator will ensure that all components are effectively executed, and in a timely manner in accordance with the implementation plan. The Project Coordinator will be required to work in close liaison with the PCU, ANE, INATRO and other stakeholders and in accordance with the Legal Agreements, and various approved project implementation manuals. A high degree of initiative and a pro-active and consultative approach will be required from the Project Coordinator in order to achieve the outcomes of this assignment. The expected duration of the assignment is 24 months. There will be a probationary period of 3 months from the date of signing the contract. The contract will be renewed upon satisfactory performance.
