GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE Kyrgyz Republic CENTRAL ASIA IRRIGATION EFFICIENCY PROGRAM GRANT: TF E6910-KG Project ID No. P515973 The Kyrgyz Republic has received World Bank-approved grant in the amount of US$ 650 000 from the Grant Facility for Project Preparation World Bank toward the cost of the support for preparation of the Kyrgyz Republic National Irrigation Program (NIIP) for the second phase of the Central Asia Water Efficiency and Conservation MPA Program, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds to payments for consulting services and goods to be procured under this project. The Project will finance the following activities: a) Preparation of detailed design for modernization of BTC canal in Talas region, including ESF Instruments and Bidding Documentation, b) Preparation of detailed design for modernization of Omuko canal in Naryn region, including ESF Instruments and Bidding Documentation, c) Consultant for Preparation of Specific Environment and Social Instruments and d) Office equipment for PIU. In addition, the Project will also finance required activities related to the Project management. Procurement of contracts financed by the World Bank will be conducted through the procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers (February 2025) (Procurement Regulations) , and is open to all eligible firms and individuals as defined in the Procurement Regulations . After project negotiations, the World Bank shall arrange the publication on its external website of the agreed initial procurement plan and all subsequent updates once it has provided a no objection. Specific procurement notices for contracts subject to open international competitive procurement will be announced, as they become available on the World Bank’s external website and websites (www.water.gov.kg, www.zakupki.gov.kg, www.donors.kg, and in local newspapers].
