GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE Republic of Uzbekistan Uzbekistan Livable and Productive Cities Operation Urban, Resilience and Land GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE Loan No. 9884-UZ Project ID No. P508451 The Republic of Uzbekistan has received financing in the amount of US$ 150,000.00 equivalent from the World Bank toward the cost of the Uzbekistan Livable and Productive Cities Operation, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds to payments for goods, works, non-consulting services and consulting services to be procured under this project. The project will include the following activities: Capacity building of the PCO, including hiring of specialized consultants including for oversight on spatial planning, investment planning, gender inclusion, monitoring and evaluation, financial audits, and hiring of the Verification Agent. Capacity building initiatives at the District/City level to support the implementation of the Program. Procurement of the following services is being planned through open international competitive procurement: Consulting firm for Annual Performance Assessments Consulting firm for Financial Audit Procurement of contracts financed by the World Bank will be conducted through the procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers (February 2025) (Procurement Regulations) and is open to all eligible firms and individuals as defined in the Procurement Regulations. After project negotiations, the World Bank shall arrange the publication on its external website of the agreed initial procurement plan and all subsequent updates once it has provided a no objection.
