Synopsis Apparatus Purge Assembly The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst intends to issue an award on a non-competitive basis to Essex Industries, St. Louis, MO (CAGE: 19062). For the manufacture, assembly, and production of a quantity of two (2) Apparatus Purge Assembly’s, Part Number: 50C-0068-2. This item is used to safely remove moisture from and maintain the aircraft's cryogenic liquid oxygen (LOX) life-support systems. This is a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Procurement for the French Ministry of Air Force (FMoAF), for the E-2C Aircraft (FMS Case: FR-P-GWO). The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 3204(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS . All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
