Responses to this Sources Sought announcement will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Proposals are NOT being requested or accepted at this time. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Great Lakes Acquisition Center, requests a letter of interest from the following types of specialized construction small businesses firms interested in performing construction work at the Edward Hines, Jr. VA Hospital: Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB), Women Owned Small Businesses (WOSB), 8(a) Businesses, HUBZone Businesses, and Small Businesses (SB) Large Business This project is classified under NAICS Code: 238210 - Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors with a small-business size limit of $19.0 Million and PSC Y1PZ (Product Service Code Construction Other Non-Building Facilities) In accordance with VAAR 852.219-75(a)(iii) Special trade construction contractors, should this acquisition be procured as an SDVOSB or VOSB - [ ] The contractor will not pay more than 75% of the amount paid by the government to it to firms that are not certified SDVOSBs listed in the SBA certification database as set forth in 852.219-73 or certified VOSBs listed in the SBA certification database as set forth in 852.219-74.
