Provide powered, automated rotation of the patient between supine, prone, and lateral positions. Provide controlled patient positioning to support prone therapy without requiring manual turning of the patient as the sole means of achieving the position. Permit authorized clinical personnel to select, initiate, pause, and terminate positioning or rotation functions. Provide adjustable rotation parameters, including rotation angle, speed, duration, or cycle frequency, when applicable to the proposed system. Provide a means to return the patient to a safe supine or neutral position in an emergency.
