Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) are seeking proposals for delivery of Technical Assistance for Nairobi Railway City Technical Assistance Project (NRC TA) in Kenya. The contract would require the supplier to provide expertise to support Kenya Railways to fully develop and unlock the economic potential of the Railway City Project in Nairobi, Kenya. The Supplier will provide the strategic oversight of the Railway City Project, leadership, stakeholder management to ensure the effective delivery of day-to-day operations of the Contract. This will also include identification, development and delivery of Technical Assistance activities, oversight and management of the Technical Assistance expertise commissioned. The NRC TA contract will contribute to broader national objectives, including stimulating economic growth, generating employment opportunities, expanding future transport capacity, and delivering a mixed used climate resilient project that includes affordable housing in its scope.

UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) is procuring a managed payment services solution to administer and disburse scholarship-related payments at scale on behalf of the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT). The service will provide an end-to-end payment processing function, covering the onboarding of students and universities, verification of identity and bank details, secure payment execution, reconciliation of funds, fraud prevention, and performance reporting. The scope of the procurement includes payment administration for the TechGrad (undergraduate) Scholarship Programme, the Spärck AI (master’s) Scholarship Programme, and the Semiconductors Undergraduate Scholarship Programme. In addition, the supplier will continue to administer payments for CyberFirst students during the transition period to the TechFirst programme. The supplier will be responsible for administering all authorised payments to eligible students and higher education institutions in accordance with UKRI/DSIT instructions and applicable grant conditions. This includes, but is not limited to, scheduled and ad hoc payments such as scholarships, stipends, tuition fee payments, summer placement payments, reimbursements, and discretionary payments (for example, travel or hardship payments), delivered within timeframes specified by UKRI/DSIT. The supplier must establish and operate a straightforward, scalable onboarding process for all participating students and institutions, including secure mechanisms for the collection and verification of identity and bank account details to enable timely and accurate payments. The service must comply with all relevant legislation, regulatory requirements, and government guidance relating to payments, data protection, and information security. Shortbreaks and Outreach Framework

Southampton City Council intends to establish a multi provider Short Breaks, Outreach and Support Framework to improve access to high quality services for children and young people with disabilities aged up to 18 years. The proposed Framework will include two Lots: Lot 1 - Care Support and Community Outreach This Lot covers personalised care and support delivered in the home or community. Services will help children and young people with disabilities to develop independence, access their community, and maintain their wellbeing, while supporting family stability. The service will include personalised care and community based support, including personal care, delegated health tasks, communication and independence building programmes, behaviour support, community access and, where required, overnight respite. Providers must be able to offer planned, responsive and crisis support across a range of hours. Lot 2 - Specialist Playschemes and Targeted Short Breaks This Lot provides specialist holiday playschemes and targeted short break opportunities for children with substantial or complex needs. These are for children who cannot safely access mainstream provision due to high levels of personal care, complex health needs, autism or behaviour that challenges. Services delivered under this Lot should offer group and community-based activities that support children's social development, independence, wellbeing and enjoyment, while providing families with essential respite. The purpose of the Framework is to deliver consistent, timely, high quality and value for money support, while strengthening family resilience and improving outcomes for children and young people with disabilities. By approving providers onto a single Framework, the Council can quickly match a child's assessed needs with an appropriate supplier, reducing delays and enabling responsive, high quality support across the local area.
Provision of Community Accommodation Services

This notice invites suppliers to submit tenders for the establishment of an open framework for the provision of Community Accommodation Services (CAS). The framework will be established in accordance with section 49 of the Procurement Act 2023 and will operate as an open framework, allowing suppliers to be admitted at initial establishment and at planned reopening points. CAS comprises the provision of temporary accommodation and associated support for individuals leaving custody or serving sentences in the community. The services support public protection, offender management and resettlement outcomes, including the prevention of homelessness on release. CAS is not intended to provide settled accommodation or replace the statutory duties of local authorities. It operates as a bridge back into the community, proportionate to the level of risk presented. Accommodation is the core service, with varying levels of support depending on service type. The light touch open framework agreement is the first in a series of light touch open framework agreements that the Authority intends to award as part of an open framework scheme established pursuant to section 49 of the PA 23. The open framework scheme will have a maximum overall term of up to 8 years. The indicative term of each light touch open framework within the open framework scheme will therefore be as follows: 1. Light touch open framework one – 2 years with an option to extend up to 1 year (i.e. up to a maximum term of 3 years); 2. Light touch open framework two – 1 year with options to extend in increments of up to 1 year up to a further 3 years (i.e. up to a maximum term of 4 years); 3. Light touch open framework three – 1 year with options to extend in increments of up to 1 year, providing the overall term of the series of light touch open framework agreements does not exceed 8 years.
