Rossendale Resettler Support and Signposting Service (LRSSS)

Rossendale Borough Council is seeking tenders from suitably experienced and qualified providers to deliver the Rossendale Resettler Support and Signposting Service (LRSSS). The Service will provide free, accessible, in‑person support and signposting to refugees, asylum seekers, evacuees and other individuals who have arrived in Rossendale through forced migration routes. The Service will support service users with a wide range of issues including, but not limited to, economic inclusion, digital inclusion, housing, healthcare, education, language support, access to mental health services, and administrative support. The Service must include a regular, weekly, in‑person drop‑in offer totalling a minimum of six hours per week, delivered during core hours (9am-5pm, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays). Provision must operate from at least two suitable venues located within the Rossendale borough, including the Bacup/Stacksteads area and the Haslingden area. Venues must be accessible, welcoming and capable of supporting confidential one‑to‑one consultations. The provider will be required to deliver casework, accept referrals from Lancashire Refugee Integration Team and other agencies, manage self‑referrals, and provide ongoing support to service users. The Service must include access to a monthly legal drop‑in delivered by an Immigration Advice Authority (IAA) accredited immigration adviser. The provider will work in partnership with Rossendale Borough Council and the Lancashire Refugee Integration Team and must utilise the Lancashire Asylum Seeker and Resettlement Case Management System to record support provided and monitor outcomes, in line with data protection and information‑sharing requirements. The initial contract period will be 12 months, with an option to extend for up to a further 12 months at the Council's discretion, subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability. The maximum contract end date will be 31 March 2028.
Langstone Coastal Defence Scheme

Havant Borough Council (the council) was seeking a suitably qualified and experienced construction contractor for the construction delivery or a flood and coastal erosion risk management (FCERM) scheme at Langstone, Havant, UK (the scheme). The scheme covers approximately 1km of coastline in Havant, extending from SU 71655 04962 in the west to SE 7191 0501 in the east. The alignment protects the largest number of properties and critical infrastructure including the A3023 (the only highway access to Hayling Island) and a number of heritage assets. This includes 53 residential and 4 business properties which will be better protected through implementation of this scheme. A further 6 residential properties not currently at risk, but which will become at risk by 2040 due to climate change will also be better protected within the 50-year lifetime of this scheme. The frontage is is popular with locals and visitors due to its unique setting between two harbours, and is an important area for cultural heritage, with six listed buildings and two Conservation Areas. There is a network of footpaths, which also features the historic Wadeway, Solent Way and Hayling Billy Line (which also doubles as a cycle route). There are also two pubs in Langstone (the Royal Oak and the Ship Inn) and the harbours are popular for watersports. The scheme involves the construction of 1km of new, continuous defences which consist of earth raising, flood embankments, reinforced concrete flood walls, sheet-piled walls, flood glass, flood gates and demountable defences. Delivery of the works will be managed using an NEC4 Engineering and Construction Contract (ECC), utilising Option C - activity schedule with target cost. Oxfordshire County Council (the Council) and its partners are inviting Tenders for the delivery of a 24-month e-scooter and e-bike hire service – the Oxfordshire Micromobility Scheme - to commence 1st October 2026, with an option to extend for up to a further 24 months. The Oxfordshire Micromobility Scheme has two components: 1. A hire e-scooter and e-bike scheme covering central Oxfordshire (so including Oxford and surrounding areas, for example, Abingdon, Botley, Horspath, Kennington, Kidlington and Wheatley). 2. Hire e-bike trials across the Science Vale area , and separately, Bicester. The Council is seeking to appoint a sole operator to provide both e-scooters and e-bikes for hire in Oxfordshire, with the Oxfordshire Micromobility Scheme contract replacing the current e-scooter contract and the e-bike voluntary Code of Conduct . The objectives of the Oxfordshire Micromobility Scheme are to: ? Support safe commuting to work and education and health. ? Reduce private car usage and congestion. ? Contribute towards the reduction in air pollution and carbon emissions. ? Monitor and improve perceptions and attitudes towards micromobility. ? Bradford Children & Families Trust (BCFT) intends to procure a new Open Framework Agreement for the provision of Supported Accommodation and Support Services for vulnerable young people aged 16 to 25, including looked-after children, care leavers, and unaccompanied asylum-seeking children (UASC). The proposed Framework will support the delivery of a wide range of accommodation models and associated support designed to promote independence, improve outcomes, and reduce off-framework placements. BCFT seeks to work with providers who can demonstrate continuous improvement in delivering value for money by adopting efficient and innovative approaches to meet the needs of children and young people. Providers must be able to deliver services in accordance with the Children Act 1989, the Care Leavers (England) Regulations 2010, and the Supported Accommodation (England) Regulations 2023, among other statutory requirements. The will consist of 5 Lots, which are as follows: Lot 2: Single Occupancy / Supported Tenancy, Lot 3: Specialist UASC Accommodation (Shared & Single), Lot 4: Emergency and Crisis Accommodation, Lot 5: Supported Accommodation in Private Residence (Supported Lodgings), and Lot 6: Outreach and Floating Support.
