GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE Syrian Arab Republic Syria Public Financial Management Capacity Strengthening Project Project ID No. P512516 The Syrian Arab Republic has received financing in the amount of US$ 20 million equivalent from the World Bank toward the cost of the Syria Public Financial Management Capacity Strengthening Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds to payments for goods, non-consulting services and consulting services to be procured under this project. This project will be financed by the International Development Association (IDA). The project will include the following components: Component 1: Public Financial Management Reform Oversight (US$2 million). Establishes reform oversight structures within the Ministry of Finance, including the PFM Reform Coordinating Unit (PFMRCU) and the Syria External Assistance Fiduciary Section (SEAFS), to coordinate reforms and strengthen fiduciary functions for externally financed projects. Grant No.: P512516 Assignment Title: Procurement Specialist to provide procurement support to SEAFS Reference No.: SY-MOF-547082-CS-INDV The Syrian Ministry of Finance has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the above‑referenced project and intends to apply part of the proceeds for hiring a procurement specialist to provide procurement support to the Syria External Assistance Fiduciary Section (SEAFS)to be established under the Project. Interested applicant who meets the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services based on the Terms and References (TOR) will be selected.
