Taupo After Hours and Urgent Care

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora (Health NZ) is seeking proposals from suitably qualified providers to establish and deliver an After-Hours and Urgent Care service for the Taupō community. The successful provider must deliver a sustainable, community-based model of urgent and after-hours care from 5.00 pm to 8.00 pm on weekdays, and from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm on weekends and public holidays. The service must improve access to healthcare closer to home, integrate with the local health system, and contribute to improved health outcomes for the Taupō population. It must align with Health NZ’s priorities of improving access to health services, strengthening primary and community care, and reducing pressure on hospital services. This is an opportunity to partner with Health NZ to close identified gaps in access to urgent healthcare, diagnostics and medicines outside standard business hours. The successful provider will play a central role in giving the Taupō community reliable access to the care it needs, when it needs it. Tenders close at 12pm Monday 7 December 2026 and must be submitted electronically via GETS.
Seatoun Tunnel Repainting

The Seatoun Tunnel, constructed in 1906–1907 by the former Miramar Borough Council, is a historically significant structure connecting the Wellington suburbs of Seatoun and Strathmore. It served as a key link for Wellington’s tram system and remains the main access point for Seatoun. Measuring approximately 144 meters in length and 8.2 meters in width, the tunnel now requires maintenance work. This includes cleaning and repainting the internal surfaces (walls and ceiling), the handrail and railing, the fencing above the Seatoun portal and the retaining wall at the Miramar end. Additionally, the footpath requires cleaning as well. As such, we are now requiring a qualified supplier to carry out painting and related maintenance works on the Tunnel.

This invitation for prequalification follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this Project that appeared on the website of Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) on 3 September 2026. The Government of Bangladesh has received financing from the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) toward the cost of the project “Construction of Five Climate Resilient Bridges in Mymensingh Division, Bangladesh” and intends apply part of the proceeds of this financing to payments under the contract for the works “Design and Construction of Mahadev, Ganeshwari & Nitai Bridges over the Mahadev, Ganeshwari & Nitai Rivers at 9th, 21st and 47th km of Sunamganj-Netrokona-Mymensingh-Jamalpur-Sherpur Border Road (Z-2834)”. The Roads and Highways Department, Bangladesh intends to prequalify contractors and/or firms for Design and Construction of Mahadev, Ganeshwari & Nitai Bridges over the Mahadev, Ganeshwari & Nitai Rivers at 9th, 21st and 47th km of Sunamganj- Netrokona-Mymensingh-Jamalpur-Sherpur Border Road (Z-2834). The detailed qualification requirements are provided in the Prequalification Document. It is expected that the bid invitation will be made in February 2027.
