ROI for Main Contractor for Drainage Remediation at Whangarei Girls High School

The School’s wastewater infrastructure is at the end of its serviceable life and is experiencing ongoing failures. Urgent repairs were completed under the previous 5YA; however, full replacement and re-lining of sections of the wastewater network are now required to mitigate further system failures and reduce the risk of flooding within parts of the School’s pipework. The existing wastewater network currently converges to a single main discharge area before exiting the site. The proposed works include separating the line to bypass this area and improve system resilience. The condition of the existing stormwater infrastructure is currently unknown, and a site-wide CCTV investigation is required to determine whether any stormwater remedial works are necessary.
Koromatua School – Blocks G, I & J DQLS Upgrade

Koromatua School Board of Trustees are seeking registrations of interest from main building contractors only to carryout construction works for the Blocks G, I & J DQLS Upgrade Project. Registrations of Interest (refer attached 'ROI' Document) + questions relating to this project are to be submitted via the GETS website. The Board of Trustees reserves the final right to accept or decline any registration of interest received for this project.
ROI for Main Electrical Contractor for Electrical Upgrades at Whangarei Girls High School

This project plans to deliver lifecycle replacements of the existing light fittings for LED and installation of new heat pumps throughout Block B. Boiler remedial work is to be carried out as heat pumps get installed throughout the main block, the boiler use will be lower so will need to be reset to reduce the loading requirements. Additionally all Distribution Boards will be upgraded with RCD’s to meet MOE standards, and the Montrose box is to be replaced to meet MOE guidelines.
Fire Alarm Contractor for Site Wide Fire Alarm Upgrade at Queen Elizabeth College, Palmerston North

The Contract Works required are: Site Wide Fire Alarm Upgrade, including a new analogue addressable Type 4 automatic fire alarm system is to be installed throughout all buildings in scope, with the exception of Blocks A, & C which are to have a Type 3 automatic heat detection system. The new fire alarm system is to comply with NZS 4512:2021 in all respects. The existing Type 4 automatic fire alarm in Block R is to be interfaced with the new Type 4 site-wide system. The Type 3 heat detection required in the Block A changing sheds will be prewired as part of the current weather tightness rebuild project. Specifications for this work have been included for information only. Installation of the Type 3 system has been included in the scope for this project. Any new penetrations created in existing fire separations as part of the fire alarm installation are to be treated with systems tested for the proposed use in accordance with AS 4072.1:2005 and AS 1530.4:2005. Fire stopping systems shall only be installed in strict accordance with the manufacturer's specifications and instructions. All work to comply with manufacturer’s specifications and recommendations. All tender documentation and necessary information attached. Contractors MUST visit site for tender to be compliant. Contact the noted representative in Invite Letter to arrange a site visit. Ideally dependent on MoE funding approval this work would start as soon as possible after confirmation provided, however this will be discussed with the successful contractor and school once funding approvals are confirmed. This project involves the replacement, upgrading and reglazing of existing window joinery across multiple teaching and administration blocks at Buller High School.
Main Contractor for Fitzroy School: Site: LSPM Fencing

Fencing modifications are required to many areas of the site at Fitzroy school to enable high needs students to attend school safely. Areas of work are: 1. Barriball St road frontage - fencing to be installed here, with new vehicle and pedestrian gates. This area is to be priced however due to the proximity of protected trees, an outline plan is currently being prepared which must be approved by council before works in this area can commence. When preparing a programme of work, this area can be listed as the last to address for now, with an indication on timeframe to complete for reference. 2. Eastern boundary fencing - replacement fencing to be installed. 3. Southeastern boundary fencing - a mix of remediation to existing fencing, and replacement of sections of fenceline. 4. Southwest fencing - a mix of remediation to existing fencing, and installation of new fencing to close of areas. Timeframes - As this project has been bought about due to the needs of students at the school there is some urgency to address the scope as soon as practical. We are aiming to have areas 2-4 completed whilst area 1 has an outline plan approved, with the works then progressing to area 1.

This RFT relates to delivery of roofing and associated construction works across multiple blocks at Kaikohe Intermediate School. These works include but are not limited to; gutter placements, clear lite replacements, roof repitching, roof replacement, joinery replacement, corrosion treatment, barge board replacements. The works will take place over the Christmas School Holidays. We are looking for a main contractor only for these works. Any incomplete tenders will not be considered.
MoE - Whangamata Area School - Modular LSPM Bathroom D & B - Main Contractor

Whangamata Area School is seeking a main contractor to provide a modular LSPM bathroom under a design and build (D&B) contract, to meet student accessibility needs identified through a Ministry of Education property modification assessment. The facility will be a fully accessible universal bathroom, including a shower, toilet, basin, storage and space for a change table. The works include off-site fabrication, installation, and all associated site works required to deliver a fully compliant and operational facility.
