O Banco Mundial aprovou um donativo para financiar o Governo de Moçambique na implementação do Projecto de Segurança Hídrica Urbana (P509890), que tem como objectivo principal aumentar o acesso e melhorar a eficiência dos serviços de abastecimento de água. Espera-se que o projecto venha beneficiar mais de 1,3 milhões de pessoas na região Sul de Moçambique, e pretende usar parte desses recursos para serviços de consultoria para assistência técnica individual de ligação dos fornecedores privados de água com o gestor do projecto. 2. O escopo dos serviços para a consultoria inclui, mas não se limita à: (i) Facilitar a comunicação e coordenação das actividades entre a DNAAS e os FPAs, através de reuniões regulares de avaliação de progresso de implementação do programa; ii) Apoiar a coordenação das actividades da DNAAS com as autoridades dos locais abrangidas pelo programa, nomeadamente: Governos Provinciais, Secretaria de Estado Provinciais, Governos Distritais e Municípios; iii) Contribuir para o reforço das capacidades dos Municípios e Governos Distritais, na promoção do licenciamento massivo dos FPAs; 3. Le Gouvernement de la République de Madagascar, par le biais du Ministère de l’Eau, de l’Assainissement et l’Hygiène, a reçu un crédit de l’Association Internationale de Développement (IDA), dans le cadre de la mise en œuvre du Projet d’Amélioration de l’Accès à l’Eau Potable (PAAEP), et a l’intention d’utiliser une partie du montant de ce crédit pour effectuer les paiements au titre du contrat cité en objet. Les études menées dans le cadre du SDAEP du Grand Antananarivo ont permis d’établir des diagnostics détaillés, des analyses techniques et institutionnelles, ainsi que des scénarios d’aménagement structurants pour répondre aux défis croissants d’alimentation en eau potable. La poursuite de ces travaux est nécessaire afin de consolider les résultats déjà obtenus, d’approfondir les analyses techniques, économiques, environnementales et sociales, et de traduire les orientations retenues en investissements prioritaires opérationnels. La présente étude vise ainsi à préparer, aux stades APS, APD et DAO, la mise en œuvre des aménagements prioritaires identifiés. La durée estimative de l’étude est de dix-huit (18) mois.
