Tay Street Stormwater and Watermain Renewals 2026

This Contract is for the supply of all labour, materials and plant necessary for the renewal of both the Stormwater and the Watermain on Tay Street, Invercargill, between Mary Street and Jackson Street. The Stormwater Pipe will be on a new alignment on the opposite side of the street to the existing main. It will be made from 176m of DN600 Class 2 Concrete Rubber Ring Jointed Pipe and 16m of DN375 uPVC Pipe. This will avoid the demolition of the 157m of pre-1900 Brickmain Pipe that will be abandoned with flowable fill. Six (6) Manholes are proposed, ranging from 2.3m to 3.7m tall. Two of them will be replacing existing manholes, one of them being replaced is a square brick structure of an undetermined age. The watermain will be replaced like-for-like to remove the 1930’s cast iron watermain that was rehabilitated in 2006, and be replaced by 176m of DN180 PE100 PN12.5 Pipe. 28m of DN125 and 21m of DN63 Pipe will be required for link-ins, with 16m of Asbestos Cement Pipe to be appropriately removed and disposed of. Works are to be completed before the Waka Kotahi/NZTA holiday moratorium in December 2026, ahead of their resurfacing works in summer. Both alignments are proposed to be replaced using open-trench methodology. The Contract shall also include the renewal of all associated laterals, manhole structures, valves, hydrants, fittings fixtures and connections.

Council are seeking a supplier to work with the rural and arable sectors across the North Island to advocate, educate and support the control and prevention of Velvetleaf. While in-depth knowledge of Velvetleaf is not essential, someone who understands the arable and rural sectors and general biosecurity practices is preferred. We need someone who is proactive and self-managing, who has the ability to travel across the North Island, particularly during the peak season between October and May. Renewal of the track facility will ensure its ability to host local, regional, and national athletics events into the future, as well as ensure the facility: • Remains safe and functional, • Is compliant with relevant standards and retains the current level of certification requirements to host major events. • Is fit for purpose for current and future users.

Lake Taupō Quay Wall Replacement

The Ministry for Cities, Environment, Regions and Transport (MCERT) is seeking proposals from experienced contractors for the replacement of a 20 metre section of quay wall at the Landing Reserve Dinghy Basin, Lake Taupō. The affected area has since been fenced off to prevent public access. Continued deterioration threatens adjacent marina assets and public safety, disrupt operations, and increase the likelihood of costly emergency repairs, reinforcing the need for timely remediation to maintain safe and reliable marina operations. A section of the existing quay wall has reached the point of structural failure, with the footing undermined and the surrounding area fenced off to protect public safety. Without timely remediation, continued deterioration threatens adjacent marina assets, disrupts operations, and increases the likelihood of costly emergency repairs. The solution will restore structural integrity by installing new steel sheet piles, removal of the compromised wall, and reinstating the surface and services to current standards. The design has been developed to modern engineering requirements, includes a 50‑year design life. The Lake Taupō Harbourmaster (now a MCERT function) is responsible for the safety and management of Lake Taupō, including oversight of water services and compliance with relevant policies and legislation. Completing this work will restore safe access to the marina and support lake users in time for the busy summer season. RFT - Main Building Contractor for Blocks A, B - Roofing Works and Replacement at Clyde Quay School, Mt Victoria, Wellington

The specialist reports for Clyde Quay School have identified roofing that is to be replaced on both Blocks A and B. To Block A an area of membrane roofing will be replaced with a pitched metal roofing solution which requires some re-framing. To Block B the pitched metal roofing will be replaced with new metal roofing. This work will allow to remove and reinstate the solar panel system. Clear roofing will be replaced with new trafficable translucent roofing laid over wire mesh. The Block A and B works will be undertaken as separate stages to minimise disruption to the school’s normal operations targeting the Christmas school holidays. The project is deemed important and requires delivery in an efficient and timely manner. To reduce the impact of these works on both the school term time and the early childhood operating time the works are required to begin in mid December 2026 and be completed as early in the new year as is possible.

Timeframes - As this project has been bought on due to the needs of students at the school there is some urgency to address the scope as soon as practical.

Te Kura Kaupapa Māori o Tamaki Nui A Rua invites suitably qualified and experienced roofing contractors to submit a tender for the Block A & B Roof Remediation Project at its Dannevirke campus. The project forms part of the school's approved Ministry of Education 10 Year Property Plan (10YPP) and addresses roofing defects identified through specialist condition assessments. The works are intended to improve the long-term performance and durability of the existing roofing systems by replacing end-of-life membrane roofing, translucent roofing, deteriorated flashings and associated roofing components, while addressing a range of localised defects affecting the buildings' weathertightness and ongoing maintenance requirements. The contract comprises a single-stage package of works including roof preparation, localised metal roofing repairs, membrane remediation, replacement of translucent roofing with compliant trafficable systems, rainwater goods, roof penetrations, selected carpentry repairs, relocation of roof-mounted mechanical services, and all associated scaffolding, temporary weather protection and reinstatement works. The Contractor will be responsible for delivering a complete turnkey solution in accordance with the tender drawings and specification. The works may be undertaken within an operational school environment and contractors will be expected to demonstrate a strong understanding of health and safety, programme management and stakeholder communication while minimising disruption to the kura. The Principal is seeking an experienced contractor capable of delivering a high-quality outcome that extends the service life of these important school assets while maintaining continuity of school operations.

Te Waipounamu In-Home Falls Prevention Service

This opportunity is for the delivery of a Regional In-Home Falls Prevention Service across Te Waipounamu (South Island). We are looking for proposals may be from individual providers or collaborations of more than one provider, with the ability to deliver the service across the South Island. Falls are a leading cause of injury, hospitalisation, loss of independence, and entry into aged residential care for older people. Evidence demonstrates that structured in-home strength and balance programmes can significantly reduce falls risk and improve health outcomes. Health New Zealand is seeking to establish a regionally aligned, evidence-based service model that delivers consistent access to high-quality in-home falls prevention services across Te Waipounamu. The service will be based on the Modified Otago Exercise Programme (MOEP) and will target older people at risk of falls who are unable to access community-based strength and balance programmes. The service is expected to include personalised assessment, strength and balance interventions, home hazard assessment, education and support, referrals to other services where appropriate, and collection of outcome data to support continuous improvement. The procurement seeks to support: • Consistent access to evidence-based in-home falls prevention services across Te Waipounamu, including rural communities. • Improved equity of access and culturally responsive service delivery. • Stronger integration with primary care, hospital services, community providers, and wider falls prevention initiatives. • Improved monitoring of service quality, outcomes, and performance. • Opportunities for innovation in service delivery and engagement. The contract term is five (5) years, with a right of renewal of two years (5+2). The estimated value represents the total value of all contracts over the full potential contract term.
Reducing Demand for Methamphetamine Programme: Peer Support Recovery/Mutual Aid

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora (Health NZ) invites proposals from suitably qualified providers to deliver peer-led mental health and addiction crisis support services in Te Tai Tokerau (Northland). This procurement supports the Government's investment in expanding Peer Support Specialists in Emergency Departments (PSS-ED) and establishing community-based Crisis Recovery Cafés. These services aim to improve outcomes for people experiencing mental health and addiction-related distress by providing timely, recovery-focused, peer-led support that complements existing hospital and community services. Health NZ is seeking providers for up to three service lots: Lot 1: Peer Support Specialists in the Emergency Department at Whangārei Hospital. Lot 2: Community-based Crisis Recovery Café services in Whangārei. Lot 3: Community-based Crisis Recovery Café services in the Mid North. Respondents may submit proposals for one, two or all three service lots. Each proposal will be evaluated independently, and Health NZ may award contracts to one provider or multiple providers where this represents the best overall public value and service outcomes. Successful providers will establish and deliver high-quality peer support services that are grounded in lived experience, culturally responsive, and well integrated with local hospital, specialist mental health and addiction, primary care and community services. Services are expected to strengthen recovery pathways, reduce avoidable emergency department presentations, improve access to community-based support, and enhance outcomes for tāngata whaiora and their whānau. This is an open competitive Request for Proposal (RFP). A weighted attribute evaluation methodology will be used, with a two-envelope process whereby price will be assessed separately from quality. Respondents must demonstrate their ability to deliver the required services within the published funding allocation.
University of Auckland - Provision of Wireless Emergency Lighting Management Platform

The University of Auckland is requesting tenders for a wireless emergency lighting management platform. The intention is for the University to have agreed standard pricing for emergency lighting components purchased over the term of the Agreement. The resulting Agreement will establish standardised pricing for controllers, light fittings, software, and associated software and support services for the selected platform. The selected wireless emergency lighting platform will be the mandated platform for refurbishment projects. It will also be available as an option for new builds, however, the DALI wired platform may be preferable for new installations. It is understood that suppliers may provide RFT responses that include a collaborative approach with other parties, e.g. where standard pricing is agreed with the supplier and the product provided through specified stockists. Service providers intending to respond are to email a completed Document B Intention to Lodge document to psprocurement@auckland.ac.nz by1pm, Tuesday 7th July. An onsite University presentation and brief site visit will be held on Tuesday, 14th July commencing at 11am. Location details will be emailed to service providers who have sent the Intention to Lodge. RFT responses are to be submitted by 1pm, Wednesday 29th July. Respondents are required to provide relevant examples of successful installations of the proposed products and associated services for similar organisations, along with referee contacts from organisations where these products and services have been implemented. C-26-170 Crown Range Road Slip RP15.77

The project involves conducting slip remediation works on Crown Range Road at RP 15.77. The work involves stabilising the slope by cutting benches from top to bottom and carting material to the designated deposition site. The slope has been creeping for several years and is in a state of active failure. Benching profiles have been provided in the drawings, but amendments will likely need to be made on site (in conjunction with the Engineer) to suit ground conditions encountered. The maximum volume of material that can be removed from the slip site is 10,000m3 as per the Resource Consent conditions. A deposition site for cut material located at RP 20.21 on Crown Range Road has been arranged and will require the Contractor to place and compact cut material as detailed in the drawings. The Contractor will need to install a temporary bridge across the Cardrona River to access the slip site. Works will also include removal and reinstatement of an existing timber catch fence at the toe of the slope following completion of earthworks operations. Both the slip site and deposition site are ecologically and culturally significant for several reasons, and the Contractor must strictly adhere to Resource Consent conditions. Specifically, the deposition site is home to two different lizard species. A Lizard Management Plan has been prepared to support a Wildlife Act Authority. Native planting and creation of loose rock stacks is required at the deposition site on completion of earthworks. Planting is also required to reinstate the access track which will be formed to reach the top of the slip site.
