The intent of this RFP is to find a successful Proponent capable of providing the Work described immediately below. The Hangar Flight Museum (THFM), western Canada's premier destination to explore, engage, and experience the transformational power of flight, is embarking on a transformational expansion project that will secure its position as a world-class aviation museum and cultural institution. This project represents a unique opportunity to create an innovative museum facility that will inspire current and future generations through the compelling stories of aviation history and its impact on Canada's development. As THFM's Representative Project Manager, JLL is pleased to present this opportunity for Construction Management services for a complex museum and cultural facility construction project. This sophisticated project centers on replacing the existing tent hangar with a permanent, two-level structure designed to meet modern museum standards while accommodating THFM's growing collection of historically significant aircraft and artifacts. The construction scope encompasses the development of a new building sized to maximize the existing site utilization, featuring museum-quality display spaces with appropriate environmental controls, restoration workshops, collection storage areas meeting archival standards, educational facilities including classrooms and multi-purpose spaces, and administrative offices for staff and volunteers. The facility will accommodate critical artifacts including Calgary's de Havilland Mosquito currently under restoration in Nanton, AB, and a CF-100 Canuck aircraft under restoration in Wetaskiwin, AB. Major construction components include complete architectural design and construction of a new two-level museum building, sophisticated HVAC systems providing precise environmental control for artifact preservation, spe
