Greywater Collection and Reuse System

Toronto Metropolitan University is seeking information from qualified consultants and/or contractors with experience in greywater collection and reuse systems. The University currently has two existing greywater systems located in two campus buildings. These systems were installed as part of the original building construction; however, they have not operated properly since installation and have not delivered the intended water reuse performance. The University would like to engage an experienced firm to: review the existing systems assess current condition and operation identify deficiencies determine causes of previous failures recommend practical solutions to reactivate both systems provide budgetary cost estimates for repairs or upgrades evaluate potential water savings and sustainability benefits identify available utility rebates, grants, or incentive opportunities where applicable The intent of this RFI is to better understand available technical expertise and possible approaches before proceeding with a future procurement for detailed assessment and implementation.
