ADVANCE PROCUREMENT NOTICE - Point Cloud Building Surveys, Source List (SL) Zones Throughout Canada 1. PURPOSE OF THIS ADVANCE PROCUREMENT NOTICE This is not a bid solicitation nor a request for proposals. In the context of the major investments announced by the Government and to foster a proactive partnership with industry, DCC is issuing this Advance Procurement Notice (APN) to inform consultants of an upcoming contract opportunity at various locations throughout Canada. The purpose of this APN is to allow consultants to assess their capacity and interest in participating, and to prepare adequately for the potential solicitation process. Please note that there is no guarantee that this procurement will proceed. 2. DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT AND SERVICES It is anticipated that the solicitation will proceed as noted in the table below. This is conditional on the contract receiving approval to proceed from DND. Anticipated Posting: Spring 2027 Description: The Department of National Defence (DND) and the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) have a requirement to perform spatial surveys of the existing land and infrastructure at their establishments across the country. Then intent of this process is to establish three (3) Source Lists (SLs), one per zone as described below. The Point Cloud Building Surveys SLs will require, at a high level, services for LiDAR scanning/reality capture, production of general floor plans &, area measurement plans, space management drawings and produce a Building Information Model (BIM). The services are a multi-year program expected to be delivered at various locations across Canada, organized into three geographical zones. The rough-order-of-magnitude cost estimates below are provided for each geographical zone over a five (5)-year period: Zone 1 – Central: Québec, Ontario ($7.5M) Zone 2 – Atlantic: Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland and Labrador ($3.75M) Zone 3 – Western/Pacific: Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, Brit
