Provision of an Enterprise-wide Medical Imaging Management and Processing System for eight Trusts in the East Midlands

East Midlands Imaging Network ("EMRAD"), a network of eight NHS Trusts that share diagnostic imaging capability across the East Midlands, is undertaking preliminary market engagement prior to procuring an enterprise-wide medical imaging management and processing system, to include Radiology Information System (“RIS”), Picture Archiving and Communication System (“PACS”), Vendor Neutral Archive (“VNA”), Cardiology Information System and Digital Pathology. The Trusts in the network are: - Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust - Lincolnshire Community and Hospitals NHS Group (comprising United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust) - Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust - University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust - University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust - University Hospitals of Northamptonshire NHS Group (comprising Kettering General Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and Northampton General Hospital NHS Trust) EMRAD is planning the procurement of replacement PACS and RIS systems for all 8 Trusts, on an anticipated term of up to 10 years with phased go-live from 2029. EMRAD requires solutions that support cross-Trust working, including network-wide reporting, image sharing and workflow, with integration and interoperability across Trust boundaries alongside Trust-specific requirements. The anticipated scope includes, but is not limited to: - PACS, including image storage and archiving, viewing and reporting; - RIS, including referral management, vetting, scheduling, workflow and reporting; - integration and interoperability with each Trust's clinical and administrative systems, including the Trusts' electronic patient record, and across the network; - data migration from the current platforms and archives; - network wide data access, auditing and analytics; - implementation, training, support and maintenance; and - service and pe
