Labor and Materials for the Repair and Improvement of PFO-Sorsogon and Laboratory Building

INVITATION TO BID The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Region 5 (BFAR 5), through the Government of the Philippines (GOP), for CY 2026 intends to apply the sum of Seven Hundred Ninety Five Thousand Five Hundred Thirty Seven Pesos (PhP795,537.00) only, being the Approved Budget for the Contract to be Bid (ABC) to payment under the Contract on the Labor and Materials for the Repair and Improvement of PFO-Sorsogon and Laboratory Building. Details are as follows: Quantity Unit Item Description Unit Cost Total Cost Labor and Materials for the Repair and Improvement of PFO-Sorsogon and Laboratory Building 795,537.00 (please see attached program of works and sketch plan) Conditions: To be completed within seventy five (75) calendar days upon receipt of the Notice to Proceed at PFO-Sorsogon, Sorsogon City. The BFAR 5 now invites bids for above infrastructure project. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the bidding documents, particularly, in Section II. Instructions to Bidders. Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid opening. Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using a non-discretionary “pass/fail” criterion as specified in the 2016 Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act (RA) 9184, otherwise known as the “Government Procurement Reform Act”. Bidding is restricted to Filipino citizens/sole proprietorships, partnerships, or organizations with at least sixty percent (60%) interest or outstanding capital stock belonging to citizens of the Philippines, and to citizens or organizations of a country the laws or regulations of which grant similar rights or privileges to Filipino citizens, pursuant to RA 5183 and subject to Commonwealth Act 138.
