REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST (CONSULTING SERVICES – FIRMS SELECTION) Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia Ethiopia Flood Management Project (E-FMP) Grant No. E124-Et Assignment Title: Consultancy Service for Supervision of Amibara Right side embankment works of Awash river Basin in different lots) Reference No.: ET-MOWE-547334-CS-QCBS The Government of Ethiopia has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Ethiopia Flood Management Project (E-FMP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services. The consulting services (“the Services”) comprise the provision of Supervision and Contract Administration Consultancy Services for the Resilience of Flood Risk Reduction Infrastructure – Amibara Right Bank Embankment Construction Project. GENERAL OBJECTIVES:-The overall objective of this assignment is to provide construction supervision and contract administration, including design modifications where necessary, and to ensure that the project works are executed in an orderly and efficient manner. The Consultant shall ensure a high standard of workmanship and the use of specified quality materials, completion within the approved construction schedule, and full compliance with the approved drawings and technical specifications. All services shall be carried out in accordance with the applicable provisions of the FIDIC Red Book (2017), the World Bank Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers (Works), acceptable environmental and social standards, and the Client’s requirements. SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES: Lot 1 (Chainage 0+000 to 35+000): Provide construction supervision and contract administration services for the Amibara Right Bank Embankment civil works from chainage 0+000 to 35+000.
