REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST REPUBLIC OF TÜRKYE MINISTRY OF ENVIRONMENT, URBANIZATION AND CLIMATE CHANGE (MoEUCC) GENERAL DIRECTORATE OF CONSTRUCTION AFFAIRS (GDCA) PREPARATION IN RELATION TO TÜRKYE UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL RESILIENCE PROJECT (P515155) DESIGN CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR THE 800-BED SAMSUN ONDOKUZ MAYIS UNIVERSITY (OMU) MEDICAL FACULTY HOSPITAL Reference No: (GFPP/CS-DES 01) 1. The Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change (MoEUCC) has applied financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Grant Facility for Project Preparation (GFPP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services. 2. The consulting services (“the Services”) include preparation of the technical designs for the new 800-bed Samsun Ondokuz Mays University Medical Faculty Hospital. 3. The General Directorate of Construction Affairs (GDCA) invites eligible consulting firms (“Consultants”) to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services. 5. A consulting firm is allowed to submit the expression of interest alone if it considers itself to be fully qualified on its own for the assignment, as it is not mandatory for consultants to associate with any other firm(s), whether foreign or local. Alternatively, if consultants themselves choose to associate to enhance their qualifications and capability for the assignment, then such associations may either be as a Joint Venture (i.e. all members of the joint venture shall be jointly and severally responsible) and/or Sub-consultants (i.e. the Consultant will be responsible, including for the services of the sub-consultant).
