Supervision of the Construction of Household Latrines in Quelimane

REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST Consulting Services: Quality and Cost-Based Selection (QCBS) SUPERVISION OF THE CONSTRUCTION OF HOUSEHOLD TOILETS IN QUELIMANE IDA No: IDA-E4730 Reference No: MOZ-DNAAS-UWSP/CS/28 1. The Government of Mozambique has received financing from the International Development Association (IDA) toward the cost of the Urban Water Security Project (UWSP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services for the Supervision of the Construction of Household Toilets in Quelimane . 2. The consulting services ("the Services") include the supervision of the construction and rehabilitation of approximately 489 household sanitation facilities in the Mapiazua neighbourhood of Quelimane Municipality, including 387 new household toilets and the rehabilitation of 102 existing facilities . 3. The assignment includes: Beneficiary validation; Construction supervision; Contract administration, quality assurance, schedule and cost management; Preparation of as-built documentation and GIS database updates; Environmental and social monitoring, and; Reporting during the construction period and the Defects Liability Period. 4. The National Directorate of Water Supply and Sanitation (DNAAS) as the implementing agency of the Government of Mozambique, now invites eligible consulting firms ("Consultants") to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services. 6. The shortlisting criteria are: Be a reputable Civil Engineering Consulting firm with at least 10 years of experience in supervision and contract administration services for projects of a similar nature and complexity. Specific experience of at least 5 years in the supervision o
