Equals Trust intends to procure a fully managed ICT managed service for the pupils and employees of all schools and the Trust. The Trust spans the county of Nottinghamshire and is made up of 19 primary academies, with the potential to grow further, and a central team. The aim of the future procurement to award a contract that delivers a consistent approach to IT both for the pupils and the staff, moving over to a Trust model approach rolled out to all schools. This will enable the Trust to maximise the effectiveness of the equipment and service, as well as helping to share resources and best practice across all sites. The purpose of this market engagement is to inform a future procurement process to award a contract for this service. Feedback received will inform the procurement procedure selected, development of the final service specification and procurement documentation. Through this engagement, the Trust aims to: Seek industry insight on the best methods of gathering the technical information required to support a robust, transparent procurement process which delivers best value to the Trust and achieves a standardised management model across the entire Trust; Gain feedback on the draft specification and information currently available to the Trust on ICT arrangements across the schools; Understand current market solutions; Explore implementation and transition approaches; Understand commercial and pricing models; Identify risks or other considerations prior to formal tender. To support these objectives, suppliers will be asked to respond to a structured set of thematic questions, as set out in Appendix 1 – Pre-Market Engagement Questionnaire.

Services are to be commissioned through a lot-based procurement as set out below: - Lot 1 - Safe Accommodation Service This lot provides a crisis response for survivors at immediate or high risk of harm who require urgent access to safe accommodation with intensive specialist support. The service will provide high-quality, person-centred support to residents and their children to address safety, recovery, and move-on needs. The supplier will be responsible for sourcing and maintaining appropriate properties that meet required safety and quality standards. - Lot 2 - Whole family community-based Domestic Abuse support service and dispersed safe accommodation This lot covers community-based domestic abuse support for individuals and families, alongside dispersed safe accommodation for those who do not require refuge or immediate crisis intervention. Accommodation under this Lot is a planned, lower-intensity offer focused on stabilisation, prevention, and longer-term recovery. The supplier will be responsible for sourcing suitable dispersed accommodation properties that meet agreed safety and quality standards, and will deliver a trauma-informed, whole-family approach, including targeted support for children, young people, and non-abusive parents. The procurement has been structured to support participation from small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) through clear lotting and proportionate requirements. The contract is also well suited to voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations, including consortium or partnership arrangements where appropriate, reflecting the specialist, trauma informed nature of domestic abuse service provision. Cornwall Council, on behalf of the joint authorities (Cornwall Council and Plymouth City Council), is re-procuring the supply of ferry chains for Tamar Crossings Ltd. in anticipation of the expiry of the current contract. The Torpoint Ferry operates three floating bridges, each requiring two 655m studless open link chains for propulsion and guidance across the Tamar Estuary. Chains are typically replaced every three years to meet operational requirements and Lloyd’s Register wear tolerances, though actual replacement timing may vary based on wear. This procurement covers the supply of four pairs of main chains and an additional 150m of tunnel chain for connection to counterweight gantries. Delivery is required to site under DDP Incoterms and preserved for tidal storage. Suppliers must also manage the collection and disposal of used chains, returning any scrappage value (less admin fees) to Tamar Crossings. The ICRs will be responsible for representing the University across South Asia, specifically India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Nepal. The Supplier will provide the legal, HR and financial framework required to support the University's presence and brand development in the region. The successful Supplier will play a key role in supporting recruitment and marketing activities across these markets, with the ICRs working collaboratively to deliver agreed objectives, meet recruitment targets, and operate within an established budget. The successful supplier will be able to work efficiently, in line with local legislation, to ensure that they can source, recruit and on board experienced and qualified ICRs to begin working by 3rd August 2026. The contract will be on a 3+1+1 basis, running for an initial period of three years with two further extensions of 1 year each subject to satisfactory performance. It is essential that the Supplier will be able to manage all aspects of the financial side of the work. Salary remuneration for any representative will be paid monthly and will be subject to local taxes, whilst the operational budget will be closely monitored and reported on regularly to keep us informed. We will also expect the Supplier to have the infrastructure to act as an advisor on the developing regulatory framework.
